Highlights from the past few years of production with three full spots at the end.
In 2008, I traveled to CES in Las Vegas to shoot a video for Expert Real Estate Tips.net. I shot and edited this piece which was distributed online through Discover Card's website, as well as Expert Real Estate Tips' YouTube Channel.
career buildercontestSony EX3spotsuper bowl
This spot was created for the Career Builder Hire My Ad Super Bowl contest. It didn't go on to win, but turned out to be a solid spot. I wrote, directed, and edited "Mr. President" and Mark James shot it on a Sony Ex3 with a Letus adapter and Nikon lenses.

While flying back to Talkeetna, Alaska from Denali our small flight-seeing plane flew over this beautiful river. I was lucky to get a good shot of it.

Somewhere along the highway on the South Island of New Zealand, there is a hiking trail called "Key Summit." It takes a couple hours to go up, but I can't recommend it more. The view up there is nothing short of spectacular.

Dawen is an up and coming Pop/R&B artist that I knew from Northwestern. He needed a music video, and I wanted to make one, so we made "Wake Up" happen.

HeinzKetchupTop This TV Take TwoVaricam
A few summers ago I rounded up some family and friends to shoot a commercial for a Heinz Ketchup contest. Not only did it turn out great, but my first ever contest commercial went on to win the grand prize of $57,000 and was shown on national cable networks for several months!

The rain in Paris was frustrating at times, but the dark sky definitely helped this shot. In the distance, you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph, and Sacre Coeur. All from just a few stories up.

Easily one of the most incredible places on earth. Even more incredible after hiking four days to get there on the Inca Trail.
I did my best to capture its magic when processing this photo.

While driving up the coast of New Zealand, we found a spot a little out of the way that had this incredible driftwood.
We weren't the only ones though. A group of travelers had gotten their car stuck in the sand. I helped them get out and then took this shot.

I took this shot just before the sun set over Sydney. I couldn't help but stick around, shooting until the sun was completely down.

This is the first wedding video I've made. Two close friends of mine tied the knot in October 2009. I shot most of this with my Nikon D90 using a 50mm prime and a 10-20mm wide angle zoom. A couple ceremony shots were borrowed from the official videographer's camera. Despite it's flaws, the D90 can shoot great video if you use it correctly.

I helped create over 300 videos for the Expert Real Estate Tips YouTube Channel.
Jim BeamSony EX3The RemakeThe Tragedy
This was created for a Jim Beam commercial contest where the goal was to spoof their commercials with the taglines "The Girlfriend", "The Party", or "The Tragedy". This commercial took second place in the contest. I shot it with a Sony EX3 and edited on Final Cut Pro. "The Eco-Tragedy" was written and directed by Mark James.
This is the view from my old apartment near Wrigley Field. I didn't have much of a view, and the el was annoyingly close to my window, but on calm summer nights, it wasn't so bad.

On our way to see the penguins come in from the ocean, our tour stopped at this beach south of Melbourne. There's no doubt it was beautiful, but man, that water was cold.
